Waitress was so sweet and attentive. We got seated very quickly and didn't even have to wait! She even fixed one of the orders for us and swapped it out.

Omg chefs kisssss. This place is my favorite Italian spot in alameda. The bolognese really stole the show for me and usually I just get it because im hungry. But the flavor was sooo good. The pizza was so yummy and authentic I wish there wasn't so much arugula cause it kind of over powered the mushroom and prosciutto. The drinks were yummy and refreshing. Our server was super professional and sweet. And the restaurant is gorgeous! I will be back soon!!

We had lunch today at this wonderful restaurant and loved it! The place is in a large shopping center so no parking issues. Restaurant is modern and our table was perfect. There were 6 of us. Our server, Greta, was fantastic ! Very helpful and especially patient. One person in our party is the customer from he!! Makes ridiculous requests, never likes what she orders, makes you want to crawl under the table. Greta, thank you for putting up with her and doing such a great job! Ok, the food! Hubby and I split the beet salad which was delicious. We then had the Cristina pizza- SO GOOD! The crust was one of the best I have had. The pizza was not greasy either. One of our friends had the lasagna and loved it. Don't remember what the other folks had but besides Mrs Pain in the A$$, everyone enjoyed their lunch. We will definitely be back. Check this place out when you are in Alameda!

This Italian spot is pretttty delish. I would consider this one of the fancier dines in Alameda and love to bring family and friends from out of town here. The decor is modern and classy, the ambiance is great and kid friendly. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has an enclosure and covering, making it still feel intimate and not too uncomfortable if the weather is not the best. The staff is friendly and they make birthdays and anniversaries fun with a nice greeting at the door and a dessert later. The food is delicious! Our family usually starts off with the Polipo e Patate, an octopus and potatoes app, the Burrata con Prosciutto and the Calamari Fritto. Every single one of those dishes are yummy and plentiful for a table of 6 adults. For our entrees, we usually get the Bistecca and their seasonal risotto. The Black Ink Risotto is fantastic! Not too much seasoning where it's overpowering. The steak is also very delicious, but one time we had to send the meat back twice. The cow was still moo'ing and then the second time around, it was so overly well done. This only happened one other time so we were scared to get it for a while after that, but once it was perfect, IT WAS DELICIOUS. Quite heavenly. So, if you're looking for a night out on the town, want to impress some peeps or be romantic, this is your go to Italian restaurant!

Saturday night's dinner to celebrate my niece's 17th birthday. For my sister and I, it was our 2nd visit and we wanted to share the experience and delicious food with other family members Food: Every item ordered tasted amazing, seafood was not overcooked, the wood-fire added a very nice touch. Highly recommend the Cristina...light and very tasty. While it is not an appetizer, w a party of 5, it was a perfect start. See the pics for the entrees we enjoyed Service: Marshall was our server for the evening. He's been w Trabocco for quite some time. He was very attentive, explained the specials very clearly and made our experience feel special. To top off the birthday celebration, Marshall and the chef/owner came over to sing happy birthday for my niece Ambiance: Great setting and location in the South Shore Center. You would never have guessed this high end restaurant was tucked into this open-air center. The interior is nicely decorated, bar seating to your right as you enter the restaurant, open kitchen seating on opposite sides of the wood fire oven. There is a private room towards the back and an enclosed patio Highly recommend Trabocco. We are already planning another visit. Thank you Chef and Marshall for a nice evening.

A Trabocco is a unique fishing pier found along the Adriatic coast of Abruzzo. Thanks for one of the first (in my opinion) "high end" restaurants on the island! It was GREAT seeing Nico (son) all grown up. Last time we saw him, he was in High School. Quality/Quantity - Quality is good, quantity is expected for high quality food. Quantity is enough for a meal, but do not expect leftovers. Everything is good on the menu; my go-to items are: Spaghetti Del Trabocco - Yes, I can be a simple person. Pastas are made in house, you can sometimes see them making it on the way to the bathroom. Brodetto Alla Vastese - Seafood stew, when I do not mind getting messy. Rosticceria Del Giorno - Of course, I have to get my usual ribeye. Pizza for my daughter which comes with scissors. They have a nice pizza oven. Decent wine list. I suggest the Montepulciano, Zaccagnini "Tralcetto," from Abruzzo, Giuseppe, hometown. But today we got the following: Complimentary Bread - I could eat this all day, baked fresh daily. Gnocchi Al Pomodoro - Good, but I suggested to my guest that he should have added protein, like chicken. Piatto Del Trabocco - Not sure if I tried this dish before, but I am a big "Frutti Di Mare" fan. And this hit the spot. Atmosphere - Beautiful location, spent so much $$ with the remodel. Now it has much more natural light. Added more outdoor tented heated seating; another business that benefited with additional seating due to the pandemic. And continued to expand the outdoor seating, outdoor tented seating, etc. Open kitchen. Also known for their pizzas. Outside sinks for the bathrooms. Small note, I feel the doors need to be labeled differently. Plenty of mall parking. Open 6 days a week from 11:30am to 9pm or 10pm. Closed Mondays. Yelp hours differ slightly. Giuseppe and his wife are here almost every day, almost every minute. Well, I didn't see the wife today, maybe she will work the dinner shift...? Service - Excellent, the family, including their son, is very nice; good people (sorry, I have never met your daughter). The wife, Christine, usually works at the hostess booth while Giuseppe is in the kitchen expediting. He also takes a minute every hour to walk the floor greeting and talking with customers to make sure everything is okay. Price - Above average, but that is what you get for high quality food. Today = $53 + generous tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2013, we have been a customer since you opened. Thanks for bringing such an upscale restaurant to our island, I really appreciate it.
